| Wow, I know I haven't posted in a while. Just thought I'd post for the sake of "not losing contact".
I'm at college in Lexington, KY and ready to go home in a week for Thanksgiving. Saw JC Saturday and that was splendid. That's all for now | | |
| So I think I'm gonna switch to MySpace.. not sure yet though.

| As I was reading xangas and just
thinking about my life I remembered something very important. Something
I often overlook. Something that should be my focus and my joy yet it
is something that I let get entangled under the worries of my everyday
struggles and emotions. I just started to ponder on all God has given
me. All He has gifted me with, all He has forgiven me for, and everyone
He has placed in my life. When thinking about these things how could
you not come to God with the upmost humility and thankfulness. How
could you not give all you have and who you are for the creator of this
universe and the ultimate love of your life. Your completion, your
Heavenly Father. The One who gave us a life full of grace so amazing
that it covered all sin, yours and mine, present, past and future. A
God who would send His only Son to die for sinners, to die for you, to
die for me. A God that is personal and that you can have a relationship
with. A relationship like no other! One that will never leave you nor
forsake you. A Savior that would not only tell us how to live but show us as well. A Savior that even to the point of death on a cross would give up His will for His Father's.
I am so very thankful for all
I've been given. I thank God for my friends and family. I thank God for
relationships that we are able to build. Relationships giving us just a
hint of a sinless relationship we will one day have with Him. I am
thankful for my trials, thankful that they help me persevere and
mature. I'm thankful that i don't understand God completely. I thank
God for his mercy and grace. I thank God for the joy and fulfillment He
brings. I thank God that He always provides and never forsakes. I thank
God for His Word. I thank God for wisdom and prayer. I thank God for
fellowship with one another. I thank God for accountability. I thank
God so much for His love. I thank Him that others can see His love in
us. I thank Him for that attraction and natural tendency Christ has on
others. I thank God for designing us to worship yet giving us a choice.
I thank God that we can have an oppurtunity to live for Him and I pray
I do. I know that I will mess up and I know I'm nowhere near perfect
but that's the beauty of grace.
I wanted to thank everyone reading this
too. God has put you in my life for a reason and for that I am
thankful. I love you. More importantly God loves you. He loves you so
so so so much its not even funny. Thank Him, be encouraged by Him, give
Him the glory, boast in Him. That's my prayer and hopefully an
encouragement to you. Take a break from everything that's going on and
just meditate on the things God has given you, the people that He has
put in your life, and the grace that allows us to live another day.
Col 3:17
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the
Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
